NEW FEES FOR EXCHANGE VISITOR PROGRAM GO INTO EFFECT
Effective April 14, 2000, those who use the exchange visitor program must pay fees for their participation in the program. These fees were set to take effect some time ago, but were delayed because of problems associated with the integration of the United States Information Agency, which used to run exchange visitor programs, into the State Department. These new fees are as follows:

- Requests for program extensions - 8
- Requests for a change of program - 8
- Requests for reinstatement - 8
- Requests for program designations - 9
- Requests for non-routine handling of requests for Form IAP-66 -
