IMMIGRANT SUPPORT NETWORK PROVIDES WAY TO AUTOMATICALLY E-MAIL IMMIGRATION SUBCOMMITTEE MEMBERS ABOUT H-1B PROPOSALS
The Immigrant Support Network, a group that has recently formed to assist employment based immigrants and nonimmigrant workers, has created a web-based service to send e-mail to all members of both the House and Senate Immigration Subcommittees urging them to take action on the H-1B proposals that have recently been introduced in Congress. ISN is concerned that Rep. Smith’s bill, which does not provide any relief for the employment based permanent residency system, is the starting point for a compromise that will not make any meaningful changes in the current system. Therefore they urge those who are interested in this issue to take advantage of their e-mail system, which is available on their website at www.isn.org.
