NEW STATISTICS ON COUNTRY OF ORIGIN OF H-1B VISA HOLDERS
The Institute for the Study of International Migration at Georgetown University has released its compiled statistics on the country of origin of people to whom H-1B visas were issued in 1999.  As expected, India leads the list, with more that 50,000 nationals being issued visas.
