PILOT PROGRAM ALLOWS TEXAS SERVICE CENTER TO ACCEPT ADDITIONAL APPLICATIONS 
The Texas Service Center (formerly known as the Southern Service Center) will now accept I-129 petitions for nonimmigrant workers, I-140 immigrant petitions for alien workers, I-526 immigrant petitions by alien entrepreneurs and I-829 petitions by entrepreneurs to remove the condition on permanent residency. Employers in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas have the option of applying for the above-named visas in Texas or at the Nebraska Service Center (where such applications have normally been sent. The application only be submitted at one of the service centers, not both.
