Nonimmigrant Visas: No limits on the number of applications. No waiting period between applications. Appointments are not required, but applications must be submitted between 8:30 am and 11:30 am Monday through Friday. Applications by German nationals may be submitted through the mail if an applicant resides in Germany. Mail applications by those residing outside of Germany will be accepted on a discretionary basis. Applications may be submitted by travel agents and couriers. Fiance visas are not processed at the Bonn Consulate. They must be submitted in Frankfurt. Non-Germans who reside outside Germany must now process at the US Consulate in Frankfurt. Applicants for E visas must submit the consulate’s special questionnaire form. E visa applications should be submitted at least four weeks in advance.

Immigrant Visas: Immigrant visa applications are not processed in Bonn. Such applications must be submitted to the American Consulate in Frankfurt.
