CANADIANS MUST NOW SUBMIT I-130 FAMILY PETITIONS DIRECTLY TO INS Residents of Canada are now directed to submit family immigration petitions on Form I-130 directly to the Immigration and Naturalization Service Nebraska Service Center instead of to US Consulates in Canada. The change was made at the request of the State Department which complained that it could no longer handle the demand and that its acceptance of petitions is done as a service to the INS. The consulates are no longer accepting the petitions and the applications must be submitted by mail to the Nebraska Service Center. < Back | Next >Disclaimer: This newsletter is provided as a public service and not intended to establish an attorney client relationship.
