INS ANNOUNCES CHANGE IN HOURS OF OPERATION OF FINGERPRINTING SITES

In an attempt to improve customer service and make better use of available resources, the INS is changing the hours of operation of all its fingerprinting sites across the country. The new hours will be from 8 AM to 4 PM, Tuesdays through Saturdays. Previously, the centers were open until 8 PM on two nights a week, but these late hours were used by only about six percent of the people, with most people coming in on Saturday. The change in hours includes an additional two hours of service on Saturdays.
