ZAMBRANO AMNESTY CASE ORDERED DISMISSED BY COURT
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals recently granted the government's motion for summary judgment in the Zambrano IRCA amnesty case. Further, the court vacated the district court's orders and remanded with instructions to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction.
The decision had virtually no analysis, but is consistent with other decisions recently issued by courts sending IRCA amnesty cases back to the district courts for dismissal.
