US RETURNS CUBAN BOAT HIJACKERS Avoiding further escalation of already tense relations between the US and Cuba, US officials have turned over six people allegedly involved in the hijacking of a yacht in the Florida Straits. The six hijackers and the two passengers on the boat arrived back in Cuba just days before the beginning of the annual talks on migration accords between the US and Cuba. The suspected hijackers, five men and one woman all of whom are in their twenties, boarded the boat at a Cuban port and after a struggle with the two crewmembers, turned the boat to the US.
