The Immigrant Policy Project of the National Conference of State Legislatures has upgraded its web site, now at: http://www.ncsl.org/programs/immig/

The site, along with the linked StateServ site, includes a variety of information on immigrant welfare eligibility at the state and federal levels.

With unemployment at near record lows and a booming job market, more and more wage surveys are becoming available online. A general outlook on industry-wide salaries can be found at www.solutionmatrix.com/kb.html (click on Guides and Data, then on Salaries and Wages). More detailed information is available for a $30 fee from www.salarysource.com. The information can be helpful in H-1B and labor certification cases where employers are required to document that an immigrant worker is paid the prevailing industry wage.
