NY TIMES AND WASHINGTON POST COVER HORSLEY ENTRY DENIAL
 Two of America's leading papers are covering the entry denial of British author Sebastian Horsley. The Post has an editorial taking CBP to task for what they call using "torpid judgment" in denying entry to someone who poses no danger to the American public. The Times article is more of a profile piece and gets Horsley's reaction to his immigration problems.

BRITISH AUTHOR HORSLEY DENIED ENTRY TO US
The popular British author Sebastian Horsley was denied entry at Newark Liberty Airport this week after questioning over his former drug addiction, use of prostitutes and his own work as a male escort. Horsley described these activities in his just published memoir, just released in paperback by mega-publisher HarperCollins. Horsley was coming to the US for a book party and New York media tour.

CUBAN SOCCER PLAYERS DEFECT
Five Cuban national team soccer players have defected to the United States. The Cuban team was in Tampa competing to qualify for the Olympics this summer. Three others associated with the team, including the assistant coach, are thought to have also defected.
