From WPTZ television:

An Upper Valley community has plans in the works for a big development project.

Its one of several projects the governor is pitching to foreign investors during his trip to Asia this week. The project concerns Prospect Street in Hartford, along the Connecticut River. The town wants to put offices, housing, and shops on the road, plus clean up chemicals there that are polluting the river. They’re exploring their options with a grant from the state. How all of this will be funded is still up for debate, but they’re looking at EB5 program as one option.

“There’s a limited amount of class A commercial space. just from an office space perspective I think it will bring a lot to the town,” said Green Mountain Economic Director Joan Goldstein.

The project could get started as early as next year.
