A native New Yorker, Eric Bland has always thrived on the energy that fuels the pulse of the city. A Bachelor of Arts Degree from New York University in 1989 and a Juris Doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1992, served as a solid academic foundation for Eric’s professional pursuits.  Eric complimented his education with courses in private international law from The Hague Academy of International Law in the Netherlands. A creative soul with a pragmatic sensibility, it was only natural that Eric’s career would arise from a collision of these contrasting influences. Initially balancing his interest in writing and filmmaking with employment as a criminal immigration litigator, a practice began to emerge.

In 1993, Eric formally launched his solo practice. Since its inception, Eric M Bland PC, enjoyed a unique affiliation with the commercial arts, fashion and entertainment industries. His commitment to providing intelligent, creative service has resulted in loyal relationships with the most prominent companies in the arenas of fashion, television, film, sports, fine arts, new technology, music, architecture and commercial design. While his clients have ranged from individual artists and small design firms to Academy Award winning actors, supermodels and Fortune 500 corporations, Eric Bland’s level of attention has never wavered: Eric has always insisted that each client and each matter be treated with the same deserving respect and integrity with which he would expect in return.

In August of 2006, Eric Bland joined Siskind Susser Bland, PC as an active member of the State Bar of New York, the State Bar of New Jersey and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.  Eric has been published in major legal journals and has been invited to lecture on immigration law topics at various conferences in the United States and abroad. Eric has been asked to speak on nationally syndicated television news shows and has become a regular contributor to Sirius satellite radio.
