Siskind Susser PC seeks a driven, service-oriented paralegal to join its employment-based immigration law practice in Memphis, Tennessee. Our team delivers high-quality service to leading medical systems, multinational corporations, major universities, world-renowned researchers and extraordinary athletes, artists and entertainers. In this position, you will work with attorneys to prepare and file complex employment-based immigration matters, including petitions based on extraordinary ability, outstanding research and work in the national interest (e.g., I-140s, I-485s, H/O/P petitions and related matters). These cases involve interacting with clients, drafting and editing support letters and forms, reviewing and organizing complex documents, engaging in fact-based research, interacting with government agencies and providing appropriate administrative support to attorneys.
The ideal candidate is looking for a collaborative, fast-paced work environment that involves balancing multiple priorities from a team of attorneys while maintaining strong attention to detail. Candidates also will be able to work independently, yet as part of a close-knit team of attorneys and other paralegals. Immigration experience is preferred but not required. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree together with strong writing and analytical skills, strong organizational skills, fluency and comfort with computer-based technologies (e.g., Microsoft Office), and meticulous attention to detail.
