The Dallas Morning News reports on a federal class-action suit that has been filed by people who have been denied COVID relief checks because they have someone without a Social Security Number in their household. The suit was filed by MALDEF, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, on behalf of a half dozen individual plaintiffs who are US citizens who have been denied payment of their $1200 relief benefits because of the Trump Administration policy.
