While we firmly believe that most
diligent people can enter themselves in the lottery, many people feel more
comfortable seeking professional assistance. We have been requested to provide
this online lottery registration service since the National Visa Center has, in
past years, rejected as many as a third of applications that were not filed
correctly. Many people also seek representation by our office since they reside
outside the US and are concerned about the reliability of mail services or
because they may be residing in an undetermined location at the time lottery
winners are selected. Applications submitted by Siskind, Susser, Haas &
Devine will show our law office as the notification address unless the applicant
requests otherwise. We will provide you with instructions on photos and
signatures after we receive your application.
The DV-2004 program entry period is in
October 2002. If you would like to have Siskind, Susser, Haas & Devine
prepare and submit your Green Card Lottery application, please fill out the
online form below. Note the following:
- From November 1, 2001 until July 30,
2002, our fees are $70 US for an individual petition and $35 US for a
husband or wife's application. We do not charge to include children. If
you would like to separately enter a child who will be a high school
graduate before September 30, 2002, we can prepare their application as well
for $35.
- From August 1, 2002 until September
30, 2002, our fees will rise to $75 for the principal applicant and $40 for
a spouse and/or adult child.
- From October 1, 2002 until the lottery
registration deadline (expected to be in the first week of November 2002),
our fees will rise to $110 US for an individual petition and $50 US for each
additional application. This is because of the need to handle all such
applications in an extraordinarily expeditious manner. We will attempt to
have all such applications prepared within 24 hours of submission of the
application.
PLEASE NOTE THAT BECAUSE WE WILL BEGIN
PROCESSING YOUR PAPERWORK RIGHT AWAY, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REFUND PAYMENTS
AFTER THIS LOTTERY REGISTRATION FORM HAS BEEN SUBMITTED. Also, please note that
unless you specifically tell us not to prepare separate applications for spouses
, we will go ahead and prepare such applications. We will not prepare separate
applications for adult children unless a separate application is filled out for
them. However, we will only charge the discounted additional family member fee
for them if you indicate on the form that they are part of a family application.
Please also note that natives of the
following countries were not eligible for entry in the DV-2003 lottery:
- Canada
- China-mainland and Macau (nationals of Hong
Kong and Taiwan ARE included)
- Colombia
- Dominican Republic
- El Salvador
- Haiti
- India
- Jamaica
- Mexico
- Pakistan
- Philippines
- South Korea
- United Kingdom (natives of Northern Ireland
and Hong Kong are eligible, but natives of Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin
Islands, Caymen Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibralter, Montserrat, Pitcairn,
St. Helena, and the Turks and Caicos Islands are not eligible)
- Vietnam
The list is not expected to change
substantially for DV-2004. In some circumstances, spouses of people born
elsewhere can apply as well as children who have two parents born in a country
other than one of the countries above.
