Nashville-based immigration
firm Siskind & Susser has added six new offices in the United
States and Canada and changed its name to Siskind, Susser, Haas
& Chang - primarily as a result of marketing through the Internet,
according to founding partner Greg Siskind.
The firm, founded by Siskind
as a solo practice in 1994, has opened an office in Toronto, making
it the first Tennessee-based law firm to open a foreign office.
Other new offices added by
the firm, primarily through acquisition of existing practices, are located
in Knoxville; Newport Beach, Calif.; Monterey, Calif.; Woodbridge, N.J.;
and New YorkCity. A Memphis office was established in 1995.
Siskind has been marketing
his immigration practice on the Internees World Wide Web since June 1994.
According to a press release, the Web site (http://www.visalaw.com)
averages 50,000 "hits" or visits each week and
has received more than 3 million hits since it was first established.
Siskind, Susser, Haas &
Chang's Web site was recently ranked by the National Law Journal as
the fourth best law-related Web site in the country.
