E-2 Visas Become Available to Israelis
May 1, 2019 – Today marks one of the most important days in the history of economic relations between the United States and Israel. Fourteen years after the US Congress passed legislation permitting Israelis to pursue E-2 visas, the US Embassy in Israel’s Tel Aviv branch and USCIS are now accepting these applications. Israeli entrepreneurs investing in US companies, as well as, employees coming to work in the US for Israeli companies as executives, managers and essential employees are eligible for E-2 visas and the category will be a boon to startups and large, established companies alike. Israel is reciprocating and will simultaneously offer a similar benefit to US companies establishing or with established operations in Israel.
