Zulma P. López is an associate attorney in the Atlanta office of Siskind Suser, P.C. Ms. López practices immigration law exclusively and is fluent in English and Spanish. Ms. López is driven by providing excellent advocacy while guiding her clients step by step along this complicated immigration process. Ms. López represents clients regularly before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on behalf of clients filing family- and business-based immigration petitions as well as representing clients in Immigration Court on behalf of clients in removal proceedings or facing deportation. Her philosophy is to help her clients in making crucial decisions that will directly impact their family, children, and future in the United States.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico (PR), Ms. López moved to Georgia in 2007. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law and her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Puerto Rico, and is a licensed attorney admitted to the Bar of Puerto Rico and the Georgia Bar. Prior to specializing in immigration law, Ms. Lopez successfully represented clients in Personal Injury, General Business Litigation, Real Estate Transactions, and Criminal Misdemeanor Defense. It was in her capacity in representing clients fighting charges for driving without or on a suspended license, that she learned firsthand the need for superior qualified immigration attorneys in Georgia. She believes in alleviating what otherwise is almost always a very frustrating process. She is very responsive to her clients.
Zulma is an active member of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials, and is a graduate of the Georgia Bar Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is active in the AILA Georgia-Alabama Chapter. Her community involvement also includes the Junior League of DeKalb County and the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers. Zulma is married to DeKalb State Court Judge Dax E.
