CUBAN DOCTORS FACE CHALLENGES IN RESETTLING IN US

The Washington Times recently ran a report outlining the various problems Cuban physicians face when coming to the US. Physicians often have great difficulty getting their children and spouses to the US either because of US visa policies or because the Cuban government blocks their departure. The US government recently made it easier for doctors to get visas for their family members, but the Cuban side has not eased up.
