One of the web’s more useful resources for international students, researchers and professors in the US is the NAFSA home page at http://www.nafsa.org. Among the site’s more interesting immigration-related features are the following:

  • The site’s advocacy page contains considerable information on the new immigration law as well as legislative activity in the new Congress.
  • an International Educational Exchange Index providing interesting statistics on the impact of international students in the US
  • numerous news articles on immigration law developments affecting international students, researchers and professors
  • primary source documents from government agencies relating to immigration law
  • in depth practice advisories covering subjects such as tax issues for international students and professors
  • links to articles from NAFSA’s excellent publication INTERNATIONAL= EDUCATOR
