The US State Department has released a list designating foreign terrorist organizations whose members are subject to being barred from entering the US. The list includes the following groups –

  • Abu Sayyaf Group
  • Armed Islamic Group
  • Aum Shinrikyo
  • Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine-Hawatmeh Faction
  • Euzkadi Ta Askatasuna
  • Gama’a al-Islamiyya
  • HAMAS
  • Harakat ul-Ansar
  • Hizballah
  • Japanese Red Army
  • al-Jihad
  • Kach
  • Kahane Chai
  • Khmer Rouge
  • Kurdistan Workers’ Party
  • Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam
  • Manuel Rodriguez Patriotic Front Dissidents
  • Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization
  • National Liberation Army
  • Palestine Islamic Jihad-Shaqaqi Faction
  • Palestine Liberation Front – Abu Abbas Faction
  • Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine
  • Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command
  • Revolutionary Organization 17 November
  • Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party/Front
  • Revolutionary People’s Struggle
  • Shining Path
  • Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement

 

Many of these organizations are known by other names and a complete list of all the organizations, with their alias names, can be found at page 52649 of the October 8, 1997 Federal Register.
