The Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy will not appeal a court decision throwing out its policy of barring Filipinos, Indians, Egyptians and Pakistanis from taking the National Physical Therapy Exam. The American Association for International Healthcare Recruitment successfully sued in Georgia over the policy and FSBPT was in the middle of appealing their loss in that case. The exact terms of the settlement have not been released, but it is expected that the two organizations will reach an agreement on an approach going forward regarding preserving the integrity of the exams in the four countries in question.
