Marshal Garbus is an attorney at Siskind Susser, where his practice focuses on entrepreneur, entertainment, and sports immigration. His clients include individual creatives and large productions in the arts, as well as founders, entrepreneurs, and early-stage companies navigating the U.S. immigration system. He also has extensive experience in a variety of family and business immigration matters.

Marshal has practiced immigration law since 2020, beginning with corporate clients in the financial and technology services sectors, along with family-based and investor-based cases. He later developed significant experience advising world-renowned musicians, theater companies, and touring productions on U.S. inbound mobility strategies.

Marshal earned his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, where he participated in the Immigrants’ Rights Practicum and served as Senior Managing Editor of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal, where he is a published author. He received his bachelor’s degree from New York University.

Before attending law school, Marshal worked as a professional musician in New York City, performing as a guitarist in various bands and touring in North America. His background in the arts informs his work with creatives and entrepreneurs seeking to build international careers in the United States.

Marshal is admitted to the New York State Bar.
