ABC News Investigates EB-5 Regional Centers

ABC News is airing a report that focusing on alleged criminal activity in the EB-5 program including allegations of corruption on the part of EB-5 regional centers operators as well as investors. The report focuses on a 2013 DHS internal report outlining criminal investigations at 30 of the 600+ regional centers. ABC News spoke to supporters of the EB-5 program who noted that while there have been some problems, the program’s overall benefits have been substantial and ABC did prominently note the 130,000+ jobs created by EB-5 programs over the last 10 years.
