ARIZONA HOSPITALS PROTEST BIRTH CERTIFICATE PROPOSAL

The Associated Press is reporting that the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association is concerned about a ballot initiative in the state that seeks to bar hospitals from issuing birth certificates to the children of unlawfully present immigrants. The AHHA is concerned about engaging in law enforcement activities and also questions the constitutionality of the provision.
