Restwend, the company that owns Wendy’s restaurant franchises in Maine, has settled an IRCA discrimination claim based on allegations that the company refused to hire people it believed to be non-US citizens. The company will pay $14,500 in back pay to a worker and another $3200 in civil penalties.
