The United States has recently signed bilateral investment treaties with Nicaragua and Honduras. Those treaties are a prerequisite to an application for an E-2 Treaty Investor Visa. Honduras and Nicaragua join Albania and Latvia in signing such treaties this year with the US. Of the twenty treaties signed since 19’, none have yet to go into effect largely because only the US has ratified the treaty.
