New Department of Labor FAQ Will Make it Easier to Use Default Physician Wage

More and more, attorneys are finding that physician salaries have not been surveyed by state labor departments. A request for a wage from the Department of Labor will produce a default national wage for doctors (currently $90/hour or $187,200/year). A new FAQ posted by the DOL now allows for the default wage to be entered on the Labor Condition Application without having to get the wage cleared. Information on the new policy can be found here.
