Sources are telling us that the State Department has suspended most processing and overseas shipments of passports, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad and Border Crossing Cards. Passports are now only available if requested in person at a domestic passport office if there is a life or death emergency. Consulates can still assist with emergency passport requests.
