Mary is an attorney at Siskind Susser, where her practice is devoted exclusively to immigration and nationality law. She works extensively with entrepreneurs, founders, and early-stage companies, and has significant experience handling a broad range of family-based immigration, asylum, and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) matters.
Mary earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. During law school, she served as a Student Ambassador and was President of the Hispanic Law Students Association. She was a member of the Memphis Law Moot Court Board, competed on the National Mock Trial Team, and was selected by the Dean to participate in Inns of Court as a Pupil during her final year of law school.
Mary received multiple honors for her academic achievement and service, including the Dean’s Distinguished Pro Bono Award for completing more than 100 hours of pro bono service and the prestigious Memphis Bar Association Law Student Pro Bono Award in recognition of her advocacy on behalf of the immigrant community. She was also featured in La Prensa Latina’s Hispanic Heritage Month spotlight recognizing influential Hispanics in the Mid-South.
Prior to attending law school, Mary worked in the nonprofit and education sectors. She earned her bachelor’s degree from St. Thomas University in Miami and her master’s degree from the University of Miami. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
