USCIS Issues Long Awaited Extreme Hardship Guidance

USCIS has issued its guidance on hardship waivers and updated its policy manual. The changes were promised in President Obama’s November 2014 speech on executive actions. The memo announcing the changes can be found here and the new policy language – set to go into effect on December 6, 2016 – can be found here. I’ll have more analysis on the new policy and how it changes the status quo soon.
