President Obama Nominates Sarah R. Saldaña for ICE Assistant Secretary

The White House released a statement announcing the President’s nominations for several key administration posts. Sarah R. Saldaña, who has served as the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas since 2011, is listed as a nominee for Assistant Secretary for Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Saldaña is a member of the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee and has previously served as the Deputy Criminal Chief for the Fraud and Public Corruption section of the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas.
